Cornerstone Physical Therapy helps patients solve problems associated with pain or injury through manual therapy, corrective exercise, activity modification, and patient education.

Our Story

Founded by Juan and Stacy Jaramillo.

Cornerstone Physical Therapy is led by husband and wife team Juan Jaramillo PT and Stacy Jaramillo PT, who met and graduated from Florida State University in 2005 and Physical Therapy Graduate School in 2006.

They are passionate about helping people achieve their goals and regain independence through manual therapy, corrective exercises, and activity modification.

What is physical therapy?

Physical therapy is a healthcare specialty that helps relieve pain, improve function, and support healing through exercise, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education.

How does physical therapy help with pain?

A physical therapist can use manual therapy, movement retraining, strengthening, flexibility work, education, and at-home exercises to reduce pain and improve function.

How many visits will I need?

Every case is different, but the current site notes that a general average is about 12 physical therapy visits.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Bring your insurance card, personal identification, relevant medical records or imaging reports, and comfortable clothing that allows the injured area to be examined.

Do I need a referral?

A referral is not always necessary for physical therapy. If you have been given a referral, bring it with you, and check your insurance plan for any requirements.
